Admissions Procedure

Children as young as 2½ yrs old who are toilet trained are accepted. In order to get the full benefit of the Montessori program children should start before their fourth birthday. It is the school’s policy that all children attend the program five days a week. Children in their first or second year attend a morning or full day program. In the third year, children turning five attend a full day program. We do not accept children into the half day program that are enrolled in another program for half the day.

How to apply
1. The process of admission begins with contacting the school to set up an appointment for a tour and information session. You will get an opportunity to see the classrooms and watch the children working in their environments. An information package which includes an application form will be provided.

2. When the decision to apply has been made an application form together with a non-refundable application fee of $150 is submitted. This is a one-time fee, per family and is not required for re-enrollment.

3. Admission decisions for the new school year are made at the end of February after currently enrolled students are given first option to re-enroll. An Offer of Acceptance letter is sent to parents to notify them that their child has been accepted into the program.

4. Offers of Acceptance are also made during the school year if there is a spot available.

5. When an offer of acceptance is made, a non-refundable tuition deposit ( last month’s tuition fee), nine post dated tuition cheques dated 1 September to 1 , May and all required documentation is required by the date stated in the Offer of Acceptance Letter.
